The most basic figure of a waltz is the so-called "square". Here's how to dance it. Step make the right foot forward. At the end of the step, climb to the socks. The left leg is attached to the right (also on the toe). These actions take place at the expense of "1". Then the left leg is placed exactly to the side, continuing to be on the toe, and the right one is pulled to it (also on the toe). This will be a score of "2". On account of "3"a reduction is made from socks to the entire foot. We finished the first measure of the movement "square". Moving on. Now the movement will take place in the opposite direction. The left leg moves back to the full stop of the body weight on it. The right leg is pulled to the left on the floor by a "heel" (at the end of the heel, it is slightly detached from the parquet). This will be a score of "1". Then the right leg is put to the side on the toe, and the left one is pulled to it. This is the score "2". Well, on the "3" account (as always in the waltz) there is a reduction in the entire foot (legs together). This figure can be danced with a partner. The partner's sequence is the same. Only he must start his movement with his back.
- The most popular dance, which can be calledthe basic for formation of correct skills of the future dancer is a fashionable rock. He is a member of the disciplines in competitions in sports ballroom dancing among beginners dancers. It is not necessary to dance in pairs. Unlike waltz, fashionable rock is danced for 4 strokes in one beat. In this way,consider - "1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4". This cycle reflects all the movements of fashionable rock. The main element of the dance is transgression. You can start with it. On account of "1" the dancer high raises his left leg, bent at the knee (by 90about). The sock is tight. On the same account you need to have time to put your left foot to the side. On account of "2" the right leg rises and bends in the knee in the same way as the left one in the score "1". The right leg makes movement, being put to the left. Then the cycle repeats, but in the reverse order. That is, the "right" leg works at the "3", and the left one at the "4". This is the main movement. A more complicated version of it is the addition of claps, which makes the young dancer listen to music even more attentively. Cotton is added at the time of placing the foot on the score "2" and on the account "4".
