Rights and obligations of children and parents, enshrined in the Family Code of the Russian Federation
Today, children are already from kindergarten explained that they have rights. Parents of adolescents often face a problem when a child answers all claims that he has rights. However, sometimes children forget that they have a responsibility to their parents and society. The rights and duties of children and parents, as indicated in the Family Code, will not prevent them from knowing either.

1. The right to education in the family
Any child can live and be raised directly in the family, if, of course, it is possible. A baby has the right to live with his parents, if it does not cause him moral or physical harm. At the same time, every small person has the right to respect for his personality and all-round development.
2. The right to see parents
In a situation of divorce, the child has the right to constant communication with both his mother and father, even if he lives with one of them.In addition, he may continue to meet with the relatives of the parent with whom he lives separately. Isolating them from each other is illegal.
3. The teenager and his rights
Every teenager should know that he has the legal right to permanent protection of any of his interests. A child who has not attained the age of 14 may go for the protection of his personal rights to specialists of the guardianship authorities, and a teenager who has received a passport has the right to defend interests directly in court.
4. Right to own opinion
In any situations affecting his personal interests, a child from the age of 10 has the right to participate in any legal process. Excluding cases that are contrary to his interests, for example, in the restoration of parental rights or adoption.

1. The right to choose a name and surname for a child
The name of the baby is given by mom and dad by general agreement, and employees of the registry office are required to register any of their offers. The surname is also assigned at the request of the parents. From 16 to 18 years old, the child has the legal right to change his surname or first name, but he can do this only taking into account the views of the parents, and after 18 years, independently.
2. The right to the protection of the individual interests of children
Parents can directly represent the personal interests of their children in any legal proceedings. When their interests conflict, for example, in adoption, the rights and duties of children and parents are regulated by the guardianship authorities.
3. The right to raise and live with your own child
Parents are obliged to take care of the comprehensive development of their baby, to provide him with the necessary care, food, education. If the child is illegally detained from another person, the parents are entitled to demand his return to the family.
Of course, the rights and duties of children and parents are not limited to this. In the Russian Federation, each of these provisions provides for many nuances and amendments. However, the best way to comply with these rules is a benevolent atmosphere in the family, mutual respect and the desire to settle any conflict in peaceful ways. In this case, the rights and obligations of children and parents, prescribed by law, will be support, not a cause for discord.
