The first Russian Grand Prix in history has ended in Sochi. The winner of the Russian stage of the world championship in Formula 1 was Briton Lewis Hamilton, who plays for the Mercedes team.
The second place went to the partner Hamilton Nico Rosberg, and the third was taken by Valtteri Bottas from the Williams team. Russian Daniil Kvyat, representing the Toro Rosso team, finished 14th. Interestingly, the participant of the Anglo-Russian Marussia team, Max Chilton, fizzled out due to the fact that his car was experiencing serious technical problems. The only serious incident during the race was the clash of Romain Grosjean and Adrian Sutil, which is why five seconds were added to Grosjean.

Speech by Daniel Kvyat at the Russian Grand Prix

Yesterday, the Russian rider Daniil Kvyat managed to get fifth place at the start of today's races following the results of qualifying heats. As the athlete himself, who plays for Toro Rosso, admitted, for him this is an excellent result, and he considers fifth place to be his “limit”. According to Kvyat, he managed to achieve such a result thanks to the successful settings of the machine, as well as the help of “native walls”. The Russian promised to "fight to the last", although as a result, unfortunately, he took one of the last places.
