The first Russian Grand Prix in history has ended in Sochi. The winner of the Russian stage of the world championship in Formula 1 was Briton Lewis Hamilton, who plays for the Mercedes team.
The second place went to the partner Hamilton Nico Rosberg, and the third was taken by Valtteri Bottas from the Williams team. Russian Daniil Kvyat, representing the Toro Rosso team, finished 14th. Interestingly, the participant of the Anglo-Russian Marussia team, Max Chilton, fizzled out due to the fact that his car was experiencing serious technical problems. The only serious incident during the race was the clash of Romain Grosjean and Adrian Sutil, which is why five seconds were added to Grosjean.
