An agent for Russian hockey player Vyacheslav Voinov, who plays for the NHL club Los Angeles Kings, said that the athlete did not beat his wife.
On October 20, Voinov was arrested in the United States and is suspected of domestic violence. According to Alexander Tyzhnykh, this is a domestic quarrel or a “little quarrel”. The agent stressed that “the so-called victim,” that is, the hockey player’s wife, Martha, has no complaints about him, and therefore the police have not charged him.

Tyzhnykh noted that California law allows a police investigation into any incident, even if there are no statements from the victims. The decision on whether to transfer the case to court is made by the prosecutor's office.
What is happening with Voinov?
The hockey player's agent said that everything is in order in the Voinov family - “Glory, Martha and daughter live together.” The main task that Tyzhnykh is currently engaged in is the return of Voinov to the NHL, since the National Hockey League disqualified the hockey player for the duration of the investigation.

The police decided that she suffered from his hands. Later, the athlete was released on bail in the amount of 50 thousand dollars. Court hearings on this case should be held on December 1. Voinov, if his guilt is proved, will face two years in prison. Earlier it became known that the Los Angeles District Attorney sent the case of a hockey player for further investigation.
The case of Semen Varlamov
Last year, a story occurred in the United States, similar to what happened to Voinov. The Russian hockey player Semyon Varlamov, who plays for the Colorado Avalanche, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was accused of abducting and beating his girlfriend. Hockey player also released on bail. First, the charges of abduction were dropped from him, and then the prosecutor's office had problems in order to gather enough evidence of his guilt. The case was closed, but the athlete was forbidden to approach the victim in court.
